COUNCIL MEETINGS 

  • Every 2nd Tuesday of the Month
  • As always everyone is welcome to attend council meetings.
  • However if there is something specific you need to discuss with Council notify the Administrator a week in advance to be put on the agenda.

 Please Be AWARE!!

The Lift station and the WTP have very dangerous gases and chemicals inside and children should not be playing near the Lift station or the Water treatment Plant.  Those two areas are locked and the Lift station is gated for extra safety for both adults and kids

Council encourages all parents to explain this to their kids to keep them safe at all times when playing around the Village of Waldeck

With the Saskatchewan government declaring a provincewide state of emergency on May 29 in response to the wildfires around the province, several resources are available to assist Saskatchewan residents from affected communities — or those who wish to help out. The links below can be found on

Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency  find the latest updates on active fires, air quality updates, fire ban map, information for evacuees, active fire maps, and more. This is the go-to page for the up-to-the-minute information on wildfires in the province for instant update sign up for the SaskAlert app. You can also request assistance from the SPSA. Sask Evac App — Saskatchewan residents are encouraged to pre-register with the Säsk Alert app.

This application helps residents who have been relocated stay connected to their communities. Situation Bulletins — daily updates on active fires, response, communities affected, evacuations, fire impacts, and more.

 Saskatchewan Government Insurance — information about driving allowances, vehicle registrations and claims related to wildfire evacuations. Highway Hotline — stay updated on the latest highway closures.

Canadian Red Cross - The Government of Canada will match donations to the Canadian Red Cross 2025 Saskatchewan Wildfires Appeal from May 30 to June 29, 2025. Every $1 donated will

The property owner is responsible for arranging any excavations.  A representative from the Village should be present to determine if the leak is on the Village side of the service.  

Any issues from Municipal connection to the property are  the owner's responsibility.
