We are committed to:
COUNCIL MEETINGS
Community Focused Approach
THE COUNCIL REQUESTS ONE DESIGNATED DELEGATE PER RESIDENCE TO SPEAK
YOU WILL HAVE TEN MINUTES TO TALK TO COUNCIL
Thank you for being a valued member of our community.
Here are a few quick updates from the Village Council:
As we head into fall, please continue to use water wisely. Small changes make a big impact!
Collection takes place every Wednesday starting at 7 AM.
To help keep our village clean and safe, please store your garbage in bins rather than bags. Wildlife has been increasingly drawn into town by unsecured waste, and bins help prevent messes and unwanted visitors.
We are now taking in quotes to restore our Waldeck Recreation Hall. We would like to have the steps in the front repaired, the back door ramp repaired to make it safe for everyone to use, replace the carpet inside the hall with new flooring, and repair the restrooms. Call the office for information.
Don’t miss the Haunted House in the hall on October 24th and 25th at the Waldeck Recreation Hall—fun for all ages!
The council meeting in November will be on November 12th at 6:30 at the Village office.
Just a friendly reminder that you can pay your bill to villageofwaldeck@sasktel.net through your bank this option is fast, secure, and paper-free.
We appreciate your continued support in keeping the Village of Waldeck a great place to live.
Warm regards,
Mayor and Council,
Please call the office during office hours if you are interested in renting the hall.
The cost per day is $80.00 per day and a deposit of $100.00 is also required.
Garbage Pick-up is on Wednesdays from 7 am until completed. It is recommended that you have your garbage stored in bins, as the village has a lot of wildlife coming into town now caused by garbage left in bags on the street that is easy to shred and open. Thank you for your help in keeping the village safe and clean.
If its not an emergency please wait until the next regular office hours.
The property owner is responsible for arranging any excavations. A representative from the Village should be present to determine if the leak is on the Village side of the service.
Any issues from Municipal connection to the property are the owner's responsibility.
For emergencies only that are after hours call 306 750 8832
Pet licenses are due January 1st of every year.
