BE AWARE

Notice to the Village of Waldeck Community

Before May 13 Council Meeting

Please be on the look-out for individuals going around fraudulently looking for paving contract more then likely under the company name of Redwood Paving Ltd.  The individual who identified himself to be the head person for the company has provided the names of “George”, “Jack”, “Paul” and “John Mcumullan / Macmullan”.  The crew is driving around in rental vehicles including a with a flatdeck trailer carrying a skid steer and a semi/gravel hauler.  From the scam jobs they have done, the asphalt is not real but just oiled gravel. That crew apparently came through Saskatchewan last year as well.  We have information that they are in possession of a list of numerous names and numbers of RMs and companies in and around Saskatoon. Please feel free to spread the word through your communities and to call us if you have reports of incidents that could be related to this advisory.

Thank you very much,

Ray

Notice to the Village of Waldeck Community

Notice to the Village of Waldeck Community

Notice to the Village of Waldeck Community

In the Public Notice Bylaw 71-06 it states what is a requirement of what items should be a public notice and for how long.

Council and the Administrator have gone above and beyond what is required by law posting the alley policy and the nuisance bylaw as a draft for the Village of Waldeck rate payers to read and voice any concerns in the next May 13 Council meeting at 6:30 pm at the Recreation Hall.

However anyone wishing to speak must be put on the agenda a week before in a request in writing.

More than one person from one family will have to delegate one speaker who will be given 10 minutes to talk so everyone at the meeting has a chance to be heard.

Council will take all concerns into consideration for any changes that might be needed to any bylaw or policy.
